Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I’m Lulu and my husband is Luca. We both share a passion for travel, food and learning about the people and world around us.
As a US Navy veteran, I have a special love for cruising! Once you’ve been captured by the sea, there’s no going back. You’ll have a passion inside to be back on a ship on the water as often as you can. It was during my time in the Navy when I realized how much I loved to travel. I was able to circle the globe and experience many cultures that differed from what I knew back home. I truly believe there is nothing better than seeing and experiencing the world around us.
I’ve met so many people who are afraid to travel outside of the United States or who have heard nightmare stories about cruising – so they either choose to not travel at all or they visit the same place over and over and over. Although there is nothing wrong visiting the same destination all the time, (I have places I visit yearly, too) my hope is that by creating this blog and sharing some of what we experience, it will inspire people like you to go ahead and book that dream trip or maybe step outside of your comfort zone and explore new surroundings – whether it’s local, statewide or international.
From small trips to full vacations and lots of local eats along the way, we’ll share all we can so that you can be informed, and hopefully inspired to visit and explore these wonderful destinations too. So let’s see what the world has to offer, one trip at a time.
